Today we're taking a look at the JR Products Locking Camper Door Latch, so this is going to be a nice easy to use latch to replace, maybe a broken or damaged latch on your enclosed trailer or your RV. And it's just going to come with everything you see laid out here, so we'll get our two sides, this is going to be the outside portion and then the inside handle latch. You'll also get the screws. We'll get two lengths of these. This is going to be the kind of longer configuration and we have slightly shorter screws as well, so if you need a little narrower width for this, you can just use the different screws and if you need an even shorter width, you can always just cut those to length. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the global link Nova Pro RV baggage door slam latch with the keyed alike option. Now this will keep your luggage safe and secure with this locking baggage door latch. It is a sandwich style baggage lock from Challenger Door. It's a durable UV resistant plastic construction, and you can see the way it operates right here, that if we pull down, this will be installed. You can see this handle, if you pull it down, you can see that the latch right up here will open up. And then if you use the keys to lock it just put the key in there, turn it a quarter of a turn and that'll lock the handle. more

This is going to be a nice heavy duty replacement to get your entry door latch mechanism, all replaced. Maybe it's gotten worn out, damaged over time, and you just need an upgrade to a new system. So this is going to be a nice Chrome design, as you can see, I've got my fingerprints all over it, but it is a nice, shiny looking piece and it does feel nice and heavy so it's, I think it's going to last you for a long time.Basically we'll have our paddle here. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Replacement Stainless Steel Cam Lock Cylinder, With the Key to Lock Option for RVs. Now, this is a replacement lock cylinder to help you to secure your belongings in your RV. It's great for use in RV baggage doors, general storage compartments, and outdoor kitchen and storage doors. It's made of a rustproof stainless steel construction, and I do mention this does come with a key to lock option, which will offer convenient one-key operation for multiple locks.Basically, the lock cores can be made to match other global link locks, and the way you order those is you just simply select the key to lock option from the drop-down menu on this product page of this part number, and then enter the number of locks that you need into the quantity box.This part will include the 7/8" long by 3/4" diameter lock cylinder, the one key, and the installation hardware, which is already installed. I installed it onto the lock itself. You can see is a rubber gasket, a large serrated washer, a large nut, and all that will hold the lock cylinder. more

Valterra RV Locks - Baggage Door Lock - A522VP Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Replacement Cam Lock with Key for Hatch Doors. This unit is going to either replace or add a lock to a hatch door on your camper or RV. The key number is 751 and the unit is going to come with 1 key and 1 lock core. The overall length of the unit measuring from the front of the unit to the back of the screw head, that's going to give us a measurement of about pretty close to 1-5/16 to 1-3/8, right in that area. From the back of the head to the back of that screw head, so from the back of the flange portion here, it's going to measure about 1-1/8. Then, from the front of the unit to the back side of the lever, that portion right there, that brass portion, that's also going to measure about 1-1/8 of an inch. Now, on the cylinder it's got a flat side on each side of the unit, so measuring flat side to flat side measures 5/8 of an inch, threaded side to threaded side measured about 3/4 of an inch on this unit. I'm going to go ahead and disassemble the unit and we're going to take a measurement of just the cylinder. more

The key number is 751. The unit is going to come with one key and one lock core. The overall length of the unit measuring from the very front to the back of the screw head, that's going to give a measurement of pretty close to 1 5/16's of an inch. From the back of the head right here of the lock core to the back of the unit, so measuring this point here to the back of the screw head is going to measure about 1 1/8th of an inch. more

Today on our camper, we'll be taking a look at, and installing, the Lippert Components Replacement RV Entry Door Latch in black, Part Number LC202290, also available in white, Part Number LC204309. Replace your RV entry door latch and protect our belongings from intruders. It features a key door lock and deadbolt to make you feel safe and secure. It's made out of a sturdy steel construction with a black finish, and it's going to fit door thicknesses form 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". The inner dimensions measure 3 1/2" x 2 1/2", so you want to make sure you have a cut out size to fit that latch. Two keys are included. The lock and deadbolt are keyed alike. Now that we've gone over some of the features, I'll go ahead and show you how we got it installed. more

The Camco Baggage lock is the perfect replacement for your baggage compartment or any other place that you may need to lock on your camper, RV or trailer. It comes with a straight and off-set Cam so you can use it for multiple applications. Two keys are included. The lock core itself has a depth of an inch and an eighth. Today in our pop-up camper we are going to take a look at and show you to install the Camco CamLoc. This is a straighter off-set key operated lock, it's part number CAM44353. Here's what the Camco CamLoc will look like once it's installed. As you can see it's going to come with two keys to operate it. It's a very versatile little lock. It's really going to work out great on cabinets, RVs, campers, gun locks, cash boxes, wherever we need a replacement tumbler style lock. It operates nice and smoothly, no issues there. more

Today, we're going to be reviewing part number LC296656. This is the Lippert RV lock keyless entry system with a keypad and remote. It's a nice bright white color. The keyless entry system is going to let you lock and unlock your RV's door with a keypad or a key fob. It is designed to replace the manual door lock that came standard on your 5th-wheel or travel trailer. This system is going to reduce the chance of a break-in by unlocking with a custom key code, and there's going to be over 1 million possible codes available for you to program you keypad with. The sleek white handle assembly is going to contain the door latch and the dead bolt system. It's going to feature a tamper-resistant steel casing that has a rust-resistant powder-coat finish on it. more

Comes with the straight or offset cams and the two tubular keys and it fits onto a application that is about 5/8 inch thick. Just want to give you a measurement here to show you the thickness of it is about 5/8 of an inch. This will keep your drawer, cabinet, RV storage compartment secure using this key-operated cam lock. Basically, it's ideal for new or replacement installations, comes with the offset cam, and the straight cam and the two tubular keys. You can see the tubular keys fit right into the lock, just like that. more
